Education is one of the most important goals of every human being. It can be described as the transmission of knowledge and traditions from one generation to another. Schools and universities can be named as the most important instances.
Since the year 1752 the European Convention passed a law which guaranteed a right to education. In 1966 this was guaranteed as well by the International Covenant on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights of the United Nations.
Learning Strategies
There are different learning strategies and modalities which divides the leaners into three groups:
- Visual Learning: This kind of learning is based on visual perception. This can be learned in an easier way, when they can be seen and observed.
- Audio learning: This type is connected with the emotional center. Information and facts, which will be listened, are much easier to learn.
- Kinesthetic Learning: This strategy is based on movement and physical work. It is necessary to walk, for example, up and down for memorizing necessary information.
Techniques and Methods
Furthermore, a lot of experts point out, that a good education also depends on the methods and techniques of the teacher or coach. Especially nowadays, in a fast developing world, society and environment, new teaching strategies in the field of education need to be found.
The traditional grammar-translation method became already obsolete. Today, a perfect method unites different educational systems for every learner of the already mentioned three learning groups.
